Based on the same hardware platform as the original Smart Pro, the Smart Pro Lite is a simplified programming device that operates without the need to purchase tokens, software, or standard UTP. To operate the Smart Pro Lite, customers will be required to use Ilco built Transponder Keys and Ilco Look-Alike Remotes. The application list for Smart Pro Lite is centered around vehicles supported by Ilco transponder keys and Look-Alike Remotes and comes with free updates for 1 Year. At the end of year 1 Smart Pro Lite will require a very affordable Annual Update Fee to receive any new vehicle application updates.

Once upgraded the unit will no longer require the use of Ilco transponder keys and Look-Alike remotes but will operate with tokens, software, or UTP and have access to 100% of Advanced Diagnostics software capabilities.
