Medeco³ LFIC Core cylinders are designed so that cores can quickly and easily be changed by non-technical personnel by using a special control key. Locks can, in effect, be "rekeyed" without having a working knowledge of the lock or without having to take the lock apart.

The Medeco® 31 Series is designed to retrofit the Yale® LFIC mortise housings, rim, key-in-knob and padlock bodies and the 32 Series fits Medeco® rim and mortise cylinder housings, padlock bodies, Maxum deadbolts, Embassy knob and lever cylindrical locksets, and Simplex Unican.
