Cam locks have an attached arm, or cam, that rotates to lock doors and drawers. These locks are typically used to secure access to file cabinets, desks, display cases, and vending machines to prevent theft or unauthorized use of the contents. Keyed cam locks open with a key. Keyless cam locks use slots, combinations, and handles to lock or close.
